Birendra Bajracharya is a senior geospatial scientist at the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, where he leads regional initiatives on Earth observation and decision-support systems. He has worked at ICIMOD since 1995 and previously served as Chief of Party for SERVIR–Hindu Kush Himalaya, a joint NASA–USAID programme. His expertise spans remote sensing, spatial data infrastructure, and applications for disaster risk reduction and sustainable resource management.
