Michele Melchiorri is co-chair of the Group on Earth Observation Human Planet, an impactful GEO work programme activity that leverages EO and geospatial data to understand human presence on Planet Earth. He is Project Officer at the European Commission Joint Research Centre where he is responsible for the Exposure Mapping Component in the Copernicus Emergency Management Service.
