The fifth Plenary session of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO-V) and its side events took place in Bucharest, Romania, at the Palace of the Parliament from 17 to 21 November 2008. The conference was hosted by the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) with the support of the National Authority for Scientific Research.
