News / 2 February 2018
EO-College and SAR EDU have announced the release of SARbian, a plug’n play Operation System (based on Debian Linux) which includes all free and openly available Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Remote Sensing processing software.
SARbian is an attempt to make SAR data processing easy, as it addresses challenges faced by many users when installing and compiling open source SAR processing software. No knowledge of installation steps needed, just download and get started with SAR data processing. SARbian is free for use in research, education or operational work.
